A new, fresh approach to developing the African continent yet steeped in philosophies and principles that make us a trusted and loyal partner.
About Us:
Though only established in 2010, TEXISCENE is “wise beyond its years”. It brings together a team of individuals that are well versed in business and have a keen eye for opportunities. We have 3 distinct business streams:
1) Commodities Sourcing and Procurement;
2) Project and Investments and
3) Consultancy services
Commodities
Initially, the idea was to put genuine suppliers/sellers of various commodities next to buyers, but it soon became apparent that there was potential for much, much more. Whether we are buying on our clients’ behalves or we are taking our clients to the source or even buying on the ground for later resale our results are consistent. We safe-guard the interests of our partners as if it were our own. The commodities we procure are (but not limited to):
• Gold (Mali, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Sierra Leone, DRC)
• Diamonds (South Africa, Namibia, DRC, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Cameroon, Botswana, Zimbabwe)
• Coltan (DRC)
• Maize (Zambia)
• Chrome (South Africa)
• Copper (DRC, Zambia)
• Coal (South Africa)
• Diesel/Petrol (Mozambique, South Africa)
• Soy beans (Zambia)
Projects and Investments
Our connection to and close relationship with various government departments in Western, Central and Southern African countries allows us to obtain information on various public and private projects ranging from civils, to telecommunications, to pipelines, to aviation. Often, foreign investment is sought to fund these projects for mutual benefit
Consultancy Services
Our almost unlimited access in South Africa, Namibia, Zambia, DRC, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso, Mali and Ghana gives us a unique perspective on Africa that our clients can readily tap into. So whether it’s a customs issue our clients need resolved or they want information on what the best avenue to follow would be to get a specific venture off the ground, we can assist. We are therefore an invaluable resource and can assist with due diligence and fact verification. There is no reason why Africa should remain an “uncertainty”.
